Pick-up from Your Accommodation – Cusco

We begin our adventure by picking up our travelers between 4:30 and 4:45 AM at their respective hotels in Cusco. We’ll board our comfortable tourist transportation and head towards the picturesque village of Mollepata, located in the lush Apurímac River valley. Here, you’ll enjoy a delicious breakfast to fuel up for the exciting day ahead.

Journey to Soraypampa

After breakfast, we’ll continue our journey by transport towards Soraypampa, situated at 3,900 meters above sea level. This will be the starting point of our hike towards the spectacular Humantay Lake. The drive will take approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Hike to Humantay Lake

From Soraypampa, we will begin a gentle ascent that will take us to the dazzling Humantay Lake, located at 4,180 meters above sea level. During the hike, we’ll be surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, with majestic mountains towering all around us. Upon arrival, you will be stunned by the beauty of the turquoise lake—a perfect place to connect with nature and capture memorable photographs.

Return to Cusco

After spending some time at Humantay Lake, we’ll head back to our base camp to enjoy a specially prepared lunch, where you can relax and savor beautiful panoramic views of snow-capped peaks, including the imposing Salkantay.

Finally, we’ll embark on the return journey to Cusco, arriving in the late afternoon with unforgettable memories of this incredible experience.
