Pick-up from Your Accommodation – Cusco

Our adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel between 4:30 and 4:45 am. Once aboard our comfortable tourist transport, we will head to the charming town of Mollepata, nestled in the lush Apurímac River valley. Here, you’ll enjoy a delicious breakfast to energize you for the exciting day ahead.

Journey to Soraypampa

After breakfast, we continue our journey by transport towards Soraypampa, located at 3,900 meters above sea level. This will be the starting point for our hike to the stunning Humantay Lake. The drive will take approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Hike to Humantay Lake

From Soraypampa, we’ll begin a moderate ascent leading us to the breathtaking Humantay Lake, situated at 4,180 meters above sea level. Along the way, you’ll be immersed in awe-inspiring landscapes surrounded by towering mountains. Upon arrival, you’ll be mesmerized by the turquoise waters of the lake, a perfect spot to connect with nature and capture unforgettable photographs.

Return to Cusco

After enjoying your time at Humantay Lake, we’ll head back to our base camp where a delicious lunch awaits. You can savor panoramic views of snow-capped peaks, including the magnificent Salkantay.

Finally, we’ll begin our return journey to the city of Cusco, arriving in the late afternoon with unforgettable memories of this incredible experience.
