Chinchero
Our first stop will be Chinchero, a charming Andean village that preserves a rich textile tradition. Here, we’ll visit the Textile Center, where you’ll learn about the ancient techniques of spinning and dyeing that have been passed down through generations. We’ll also explore the Inca Wall, an impressive example of Incan engineering, and the Colonial Church, which was built on an Incan foundation, merging both architectural styles.
Maras and Salineras
Next, we’ll head to Maras, where you’ll experience one of the most stunning natural wonders: the Salt Mines. This extraordinary site features over 3,000 salt ponds, where saltwater is collected and evaporated to produce salt. The Incas used this site not only as a source of salt but also for religious ceremonies. The view of the salt terraces is absolutely breathtaking, making it a perfect moment for photographs.

In the picturesque town of Urubamba, enjoy a gourmet buffet lunch with a variety of options, including vegan and vegetarian dishes. Recharge before continuing your journey.

Ollantaytambo
Our next destination will be Ollantaytambo, one of the most iconic sites in the Sacred Valley and one of the best-preserved Inca cities. Here, we’ll explore the majestic Ollantaytambo Fortress, known for its massive pink granite blocks, transported from distant quarries. This site played a key role both in the Inca resistance against the Spanish and in military and religious activities. You’ll have time to stroll through its cobblestone streets, which still follow the original Incan city layout.
