• ATV Adventure to the Raqayraqayniyoq Archaeological Site

  The adventure begins! We’ll hop on our ATVs and head into a stunning landscape of eucalyptus forests. The journey takes us to the Raqayraqayniyoq Archaeological Site, where our expert guides will immerse us in the history of pre-Inca and Inca architecture.

• Relaxation and Reflection Time

  Upon arrival at Raqayraqayniyoq, we’ll take some time to relax, take photos, enjoy a typical snack, and follow the biosecurity protocols.

• The Path to Waqoto: Connection with Nature

  On this leg of the tour, we’ll travel through magical landscapes. Along the way, we’ll make a symbolic stop to pay homage to the sacred mountains, following a traditional Andean ritual.

• Arrival at the Haccoto Community: Living Culture

  Upon arriving in Waqoto, we’ll be warmly welcomed in the native Quechua language. The inhabitants will guide us through their art and daily work, showing us how they build the facades of their homes with local slate stones. During the visit, we will also learn about herding, an essential activity for the community’s livelihood.

• Traditional Andean Lunch

  We will enjoy a traditional lunch prepared with local ingredients, allowing tourists to experience the authentic taste of the region.

• Farewell Music and Dance

  Before leaving, the community will offer us a farewell filled with music and dance, celebrating our visit with a demonstration of their traditions.

• Return Ride to San Jerónimo on ATVs

  At the end of the route, we will return to the San Jerónimo Plaza, where you will receive a handmade gift as a memory of your experience in Waqoto. Then, we will return you to your accommodation in Cusco or the Plaza de Armas.
